Phase I

Our first phase of construction is complete. Thank you to the Town of Hamden, CT Trust for Historic Preservation, Hamden Historical Society, NewAlliance Foundation and First Niagara Foundation. 

 

Phase II

The historic Rectory School Barn received a fresh coat of paint and a beautifully repaired slate roof by master roofer Bob Zoni.

 

Phase III

Once complete our museum will feature...

An Abstract Climber

An abstract piece of art for climbing, sliding and playing with friends. Music, mirrors and film projections will be integrated into the exhibit to enhance the the visitors experience.

Interactive Global Village

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about different countries through interactive learning, both physical and intellectual.  Country information will change quarterly.

State of the Art Media Room

Create your own film or music video to share with the world. Global webcams will explore museums from around the world. Pen Pal stations will allow for visitor interaction and international language translation. 

Art and Design Studio

Make the masterpiece of the day that relates to a particular country being explored at the time of your visit.

Barn Door Performance Stage

Seasonal outdoor theater performances.
